El evento desafía a los equipos a diseñar y construir catapultas capaces de lanzar un proyectil lo más lejos posible, combinando creatividad, ingeniería y trabajo en equipo.

El objetivo que persigue la empresa organizadora es ofrecer a los participantes una experiencia emocionante y educativa donde puedan trabajar juntos para diseñar, construir y probar catapultas funcionales.
Los participantes se dividen en equipos y se les proporcionan materiales y herramientas para construir sus catapultas, fomentando la colaboración y la creatividad en el proceso de diseño. Tras una sesión de entrenamiento para familiarizarse con el funcionamiento de las catapultas, los equipos compiten en una prueba de lanzamiento, donde deben disparar un proyectil lo más lejos posible. Además, los equipos pueden ganar puntos extra si consiguen atrapar el proyectil en el aire, multiplicando por tres la distancia recorrida, aumentando así la puntuación final.
Se valora la capacidad de los equipos para trabajar juntos de forma eficaz, así como su creatividad en el diseño y su capacidad para optimizar el rendimiento de sus catapultas.
Se establecen reglas claras para garantizar la seguridad durante la construcción y lanzamiento de las catapultas, así como el respeto entre los equipos y los participantes. Los equipos son evaluados en función de la distancia alcanzada por sus lanzamientos y su capacidad para atrapar el proyectil en el aire, si es posible.
Para tener éxito en el evento, los participantes deben demostrar habilidades en ingeniería, trabajo en equipo y estrategia de lanzamiento.
